Smart Shore trench shoring products in Lakeland, FL
Shoring products for safe access during underground utility and repair work. Supplied alongside the inspection and cleaning services, because the crews who need shoring are usually the crews already on our jobs.
What it does
Trench collapse is the excavation hazard nobody plans for
Underground work means open excavation, and open excavation means the walls have to be held. Shoring is the equipment that does it, and it is not optional on any trench deep enough to stand in.
Smart Shore products are designed for the access work that goes with utility repair, rather than for large scale civil excavation, which makes them practical for the size of job most repairs actually are.
Straight answer
We supply shoring, we do not do the excavation
InSight is a cleaning and inspection company. We supply Smart Shore products, we are not an excavation contractor, and we do not perform confined space entry.
If your job needs a crew in a trench, that is your contractor or ours to recommend. What we can supply is the equipment that keeps the trench safe while they are in it.

Rapid deploymentQuestions we get
Smart Shore products, answered
Do you install the shoring?
No. We supply the product. InSight is a cleaning and inspection company, not an excavation contractor.
Can I avoid the excavation altogether?
Sometimes. QuickLock trenchless point repair addresses a single located defect from inside the pipe with no digging at all. Whether that fits depends on what the camera finds.
Do you do confined space entry work?
No, and we will not. We inspect confined spaces with a camera on a tripod, which is a non-entry method. Entry work is a different contractor.
What sizes and configurations are available?
Ask with the job in mind. Depth, soil and the size of the excavation all change the answer.
